Bio Peel/ Herbal Peel Diploma

A herbal deep sea green peel made from Algae and a small % of acid that removes the stratum corneum of the skin. This peel is great for treating pigmentation, acne or just a general resurfacing. This peel is an advanced treatment only applicable to practitioners who are experienced in performing chemical peels. 

Benefits of Bio Peel?

  • Brightens your skin so can be used as a treatment every 1-2 months. This is your classic Bio peeling treatment and is a great cabin treatment for your clients.
  • Acne- helps to reduce oily, blocked and some acne skin.
  • Pigmentation- Superficial pigmentation (not deep melasma) Helps to brighten and reduce pigmentation

  • Suitable for darker skin types.
  • You can charge £100-£180 per session (depending on your location)

Who Is This Course Suitable For?

Those who are already qualified at level 3 in skin related treatments and have experience in performing chemical peel treatments.

Theory:

  • Skin anatomy & physiology
  • Indications for use – including areas of treatments
  • Effectiveness of treatment – including depth and post treatment skincare
  • Appropriate combining of further treatment options

Carrying out a Consultation:

  • Client selection – including client medical history, drugs, and supplements list
  • Skin analysis and pre-treatment considerations
  • Contraindications and cautions to treatment
  • Consenting clients

Demonstration and practice session:

  • Client preparation for treatment – including use of topical anaesthesia
  • Importance of describing the sensation of treatment to clients
  • Effective treatment techniques
  • Health and safety management: including choice of equipment, safe handling of chemicals, and equipment management
  • Number and frequency of treatments
  • Use of homecare products

Treatment records:

  • Maintaining client records
  • Post treatment advice
  • Importance of treatment insurance

One day practical – half day intensive

We do not offer online courses for training that requires you to learn a skill that can only be performed in practice alongside an experienced trainer. We ensure we offer practical courses that allows you to work on multiple models. We want you to be confident in the skill so you can start your business straight away.

When you do practical training with us, it will either be 1-2-1 for a personalised experience or a maximum of 2 students per group. Our Online Masterclasses are purely online with a Q&A session scheduled at the end with Saarah.

All our F2F courses are either CPD, fully accredited or Ofqual Regulated allowing you to get covered by insurance providers once you are certificated or qualified. Our Online Masterclasses are designed to support experienced practitioners in mastering their existing skills, it is not a qualification.
